It is with a joyful and grateful heart that I am happy to announce the future reopening of the Central Coast Aquarium. After three months of a temporary shut down due to the Corona Virus Pandemic we are starting the process of reopening our beloved aquarium. We are looking forward to once again serving the community and continuing our mission, dedicated to ocean stewardship, marine education and community engagement.
The number one goal is to safely reopen our doors to the community while adjusting to COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines set forth by the San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department. Part of our reopening plan includes repopulating our tanks with local marine life and developing new ways to provide modified marine science education programs that adhere to public health guidelines.
