Something For Everyone

Experience the wonders from the depths down under with our immersive educational programs. The Central Coast Aquarium exists today because our founder, Russell “Russ” Kiessig, wanted our local youths to to be swept to sea and connect with the current of the ocean. Each day we strive to keep that mission alive and growing with our special programs ranging from pre-K through high school. Each year we welcome more than 20,000 visitors to our tanks, while our educational outreach efforts are extended to more than 4,000 school children in San Luis Obispo County and our five surrounding counties. So stop on by for a visit, enroll in a class, and get your toes wet with us here at the Central Coast Aquarium.
